In Sturgis, the city that once a year turns into a mecca for motorcyclists, we took a look at the preparations for the Sturgis Ralley 2023 and especially at the motorcycle museum.

On our way west we spent a few days in the Badlands. Here we could see the beautiful surroundings where movies like “Dances with Wolves”, “Starship Troopers” and “Armageddon” were filmed.

In the hometown of Harley Davidson, we focused entirely on the museum of the legendary motorcycle brand. This allowed us to take our time and learn about the history of the brand.

In addition to the usual sightseeing, we were fortunate enough to witness the first road race in Nascar’s 75 year history.

During our side trip to Ocean City, we had the opportunity to admire a lot of concentrated V8 power at Cruisin’ Ocean City.

During our 5 day stay in New York, we were able to see the most important sights here as well. From the Statue of Liberty over the 9/11 Memorial to the roof terrace of the Rockefeller Center with the view over New York at night.

The first stop on our tour of North America took us to Washington DC. During our three-day stay, we visited the most important sights of the city.

Our second tour in August 2022 went to Slovenia and Croatia. We traveled via Vienna and Graz to Ljubljana. From there we went to the Mediterranean Sea and to Pula. Our way back led us via Postojna, Kranjska Gora. With stops in Zell am See and Walchensee, we finally made our way back to Munich.

In June 2022 we made our first longer motorcycle tour to Sardinia. The trip took us via Lake Garda and Genoa and Olbia to our hotel in Torre di Barri. From there we explored the (south) eastern part of the island to Cagliari.
