Nadine
I’m Nadine and I come from beautiful Upper Franconia – more precisely from Buttenheim, the birthplace of Levi Strauss (yes, that’s the one with the jeans). I went to school in Bamberg, studied Business Informatics there and then got my doctorate in Applied Informatics. So you may call me Doctor – no, all kidding aside. For my first “real” job as an IT consultant in a small IT consultancy I left Buttenheim or Bamberg and moved from the countryside to the big city (Munich) in 2010. Here I was lucky enough to meet and fall in love with Micha while working. After traveling through Germany as a consultant for more than 6 years, I decided in 2017 to finally get to know Munich & the surrounding area properly. So until our trip, I worked in various Munich companies in IT as a business architect, project manager and executive.
During this time, I noticed that IT unfortunately still often doesn’t have the status that I think it should have in a company nowadays. And there is also still a lot of potential for optimization in dealing with employees. Consequently, I have been working for several years – inspired by the book “Big 5 For Life” by John Strelecky – to find my Big 5 for Life and to live them both privately and professionally. The occupation with my own personality led me to positive psychology and finally to start an education in this field. Besides that I love to be creative (painting, crocheting amigurumis, crafting, …) and attending music concerts.
